Job Description:

We are looking for a Mid Level Java Developer who can bring in expertise to work in the fields of Medicare data  for our government client. In this role, the candidate would be working on on premise data centers  and require experience with the programming languages Java  with strong object oriented concepts. 

 

Responsibilities :

• Design, document, development, and implement/enhance highly scalable and secure Java Web Applications.

• Develops analytical tools for use in the design and redesign of systems. 

• Work with Team Analysts and developers to enhance the COB&R application to be compliant with the CMS tool and architecture guidelines.

• Take accountability for the design and development of complex systems to ensure they meet the business requirements.

• Architect, design, code, and implement simple and clean designs that provide for ease of maintenance.

• Participate in Quality Assurance initiatives to ensure high product quality throughout the development process and life cycle.

• Mentor and support less senior developers to ensure they meet their deliverables and develop professionally.

• Take personal accountability for individual contribution towards project success

Experience :

• 5+ years of related experience in web software development, knowledge of Java objects design and patterns and the ability to translate them into efficient code,

• Experience to develop web and J2EE – Java, JSP/Servlets, EJB, JMS, Model View Controller APIs (Struts, JSF), Web Services, HTML, HTML5, XML and DHTML, JQuery, 

•  Development experience writing SQL queries, and have DB2 and Oracle database knowledge.

2. Sr Data Analyst:

Job Description :

​

We are looking for a Sr Data Analyst who can bring in expertise to work in the fields of big data highly scalable applications in AWS cloud for our government client. In this role, the candidate would be working on AWS infrastructure and require experience in SQL concepts and one of the programming languages like Python or Unix. Candidates need to have analytical and critical thinking to understand the Medicare/Medicaid data to perform analytics and derive metrics. e

The Sr. Data Analyst mission will be to support the Client needs to perform analysis on the existing data to isolate trends, patterns and corrections required in the data to support Program management.

Responsibilities

• Work with Business and IT teams, management and/or data scientists to determine organizational goals

• Mine Petabytes data from S3 and AWS Redshift & RDS databases to clean and prune data to discard irrelevant information

• Ad-hoc report generation based on the requirements provided by the business team

• Analyze and interpret results using standard statistical tools and techniques

• Pinpoint trends, correlations and patterns in complicated Big data - data sets

• Identify new opportunities for process improvement

• Provide concise data reports and clear data visualizations for management

• Analyze to check the data quality to identify if the issue is caused due to system issue or data-related issues

Experience:

• 6-8 years experience with data analysis/extract

• Minimum 5-6 years experience with SQL databases and database querying languages

• Experience with extracting, analyzing using SQL , Python and performance tuning of the queries.

• Experience with Big data or large volumes of data sets to derive metrics

• Experience with ETL Programming (e.g. XML, Javascript or ETL frameworks) Data warehousing ,Database design, data mining, cleaning

• Experience with business intelligence platforms

• Experience / Familiarity with Statistical methods and packages (e.g. SPSS)

• Knowledge with Python,R and/or SAS languages

• Experience with AWS infrastructure and Redshift database.

• Familiarity with data visualization and reporting techniques

Preferred :

• Experience in Medicare or Medicaid projects

Qualifications:

• Masters or Bachelor’s degree in computer science/Data analytics or closely related field
